Andree Martinez

Andree was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and was brought up within El Paso, Texas. She comes from a family with entertainment-related genealogies. When she was a child, she was surrounded by television hosts, such as Karla Martnez (Host, Univision's Despierta America! (1997)) and family guitarists and singers. Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in the United States. He is responsible for the company's programs and activities that focus on safety of workers, as well as business resilience, which are all key priorities for SCE. Martinez gives safety professionals throughout all areas of the company mentoring, top-quality training and guidance to help them achieve the safety goals of their respective work groups. Martinez was the director of Safety Training and Compliance at SCE before taking on this job. Before that, he worked as director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. Over the 30-year period that he was at SCE, Martinez served in various positions of leadership in programs that were aimed at improving performance and corrective actions. These included positions in the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS which focused on protecting the safety of both employees and the public.
